Ping-Hong Zhou, MD, and Stavros N. Stavropoulos, MD, perfrom a submucosal tunnel endoscopic resection for a esophageal submucosal tumor. The patient is a 47 year old man who had an outpatient endoscopy for epigastric pain, heartburn, dysphagia which incidentally revealed a 1.6 cm submucosal lesion at 30cm in the esophagus.
