Endoscopic Full-Thickness Resection (EFTR) for Gastric Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST)

Stavros Stavropoulos, MD, perfomrs an endoscopic full-thickness resection (EFTR) for gastric gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST). The patient is a 58 year old man with a history of HTN, NIDDMT2, BPH and CVA (hemorrhagic, no residual deficit) presents for treatment of gastric GIST. Patient was found to have incidental gastric submucosal tumor on CT scan performed to evaluate hepatic nodule seen on ultrasound.
