Submucosal Tunneling Endoscopic Resection (STER) for Esophageal Leiomyoma

Haruhiro Inoue, MD, performs a submucosal tunneling endoscopic resection (STER) for esophageal leiomyoma. The patient is a 70 year old woman with a history of breast cancer status post bilateral mastectomy (no chemo, RT) presents for treatment of esophageal leiomyoma. Patient underwent upper endoscopy for further evaluation of progressively worsening dyphagia in septermeber 2017 and was noted to have incidental esophageal submucosal tumor.
